Blessing
of the Animals
What a Sunday! There was a large number of people in the Church, and many brought their animal companions for what has become one of Albertson's greatly anticipated services. This was again one of our great events ~ we felt we were in our right element: with members of the Animal Kingdom. People brought their animal companions, pictures of their animal companions, and even cell phones with images of their animal companions; all to be blessed, according to the custom of St. Francis of Assisi.
