Winter Luau Fundraiser
January 23, 2010

What an evening! Over 60 people shared in what had to be one of the most festive events at the Church thus far. Apart from traditional Hawaiian-based foods, there was Hawaiian music, a Hawaiian dancer and lots of Church/community fellowship and fun. Several local merchants donated lovely items for the raffle. Once again, Albertson showed the local community that we are an eclectic Church which offers a well-rounded balance of religious, educational, healing and recreational experiences for everyone. It was a proud evening for Spiritualism and for our Church! Here are several memorable images of the Luau. Enjoy and Aloha!

Special thanks to Theresa Sachs, Kristin Powley and the Luau Committee for coordinating this event.

Hawaiian musicians Andy Wang (left) and Chris Davis charmed us with their beautiful music. Please check out Andy's web site at:

As the following pictures show, Hawaiian dancer, Kananimamolani, demonstrated the grace, elegance and mysticism behind Hawaiian dance. She also shook up the fellowship hall with some Tahitian dance. Everyone had so much fun learning how to bend the knees and move those hips and arms to the music.

Does it get any more fun than this?
